times to treasure . . . As we progress further into our senior year, we wonder what lies ahead of us. We also wonder what lies behind us. Looking to the future, we wonder if we will be able to succeed at what we want in life. If a person wants something bad enough in life, then they are going to fight and strug- gle for it until they reach it. Taking a look at what lies behind us, we realize that these are memories we will not forget. They will be memories we will al- ways treasure. We will never forget how long we have known each other, and all of the times we have spent together. Also, we will never forget kindergarten graduation, eighth-grade promotion, homecomings, our junior and senior proms, and especially how we felt the day of graduation. These will be moments we will always treasure. We will also remember a true friend and classmate, Pat Engel. Pat was a valuable asset to our class, and she was always there to support us. Pat will be remembered be- cause she was loved. As we look to the future again, we begin to realize that these are memories we will nev- er forget. These are memories in our hearts we will always treasure. If we always have a dream in our heart, we will be able to succeed at what we want in life. Not all dreams and memories can be captured in pictures, but the dreams and memories we will remember will be cap- tured in our hearts and treasured forever. Deb Miller, Editor The black tape on the helmet and the red rose symbol- ize the true remembrance of a friend Pat Engel. 2
