The “Spirit of ’76” is in everyone’s heart this year. Especially the Seniors, for it is their last year of high school. The birth of a new nation began in 1776 with George Washington as the leader. Many changes were made to try to make things better for the people. The United States started out small, but with progress and co- operation, it has expanded into fifty states. A class was born in 1963 when a group of children started school. With the help and leadership of many people, these children grew and each developed his own ideals. Now, in 1976, this class has been through many fun times and hardships. The Seniors have been doing every- thing possible to get ready for graduation on May 9. This event will end thirteen years of hard work and create a new beginning for a life of their own. On behalf of the Senior class, 1 would like to thank everyone that was involved in making this “Spirit of ’76” annual a success. A special thanks goes to Mrs. Vyhlidal, our sponsor.
