Its wrappings do not matter as to appearance, but are tools for us to use “life to its fullest.” We must take each moment and earn its beauty and ful- fillment. We falter on the path, skip steps, and often fall flat. But we always have the power within us to get up, fulfill our dreams, and make life so full it overflows and encompasses the world. 2 toMlA Ou Sckol Si J(dl oi - Ovj nifimi. Sfio 6 16 24 50 72 n no 3 di w - A to Om i iJko 3i T diMd It is not always apparent is a traditional opening for a dedication. But it is apparent, and it is very conspicuous that some people are dedicated to life to its fullest. It is to one such man that we wish to focus our attention. He is a man ho has no time to give, yet invents some. His sincere concern for each indivi ' re- veals a heart that seems to encompass the world ' s troubles and to crowd ov own. He is able, through some special love for fellow man, to derive his r s from that of others. It is because of this belief in youth, in all people, t - life that we feel honored to share a small portion of his enthusiasm. So, i n admira- tion and respect that the class of 1967 dedicates the eighteenth v of the THE TALON to JAMES K. HARTUNG 5 Whii it be in our studies or in our social activities, such as the , een, we try to capture each moment and use it to the ' st extent, as we hurriedly live each busy day. 6 Sdooi J-lfe Jiomcomuj toud Hodoud Members of the faculty also enjoy a get-together” dur- Billy Whiting and Susan Smalley admire art exhibits, ing lunch. ctmcii fne Davi e, Allison Kave and James Henderson look through col- Diana Cameron gets into politics full force with a lege ca ues to find inforn- tion on entrance requirements. practical usage problem in government. { t 8 ()(f 7oM(ik md didjjUm (iJuoWiM 3 0 35‘‘ 4S 30 - 55 Before class Cindy Wood discusses her homework Terry Malbon and Scott Rutherford, members of the cross-country with Mr. Deavers. team, find a better way to get cross country after the big meet at William and Mary College.
