IbdUaJlm Aside from her superior skill as a teacher of Business Education, Mrs, Wisecarver possesses many more outstanding qualities, which may not be apparent to many of our students. Perhaps the most admirable of these is her willing- ness to help others, to do more than is required and do it cheerfully. Her spare time is divided among many extracurri- cular as well as civic activities. As a senior class sponsor, she spends hours helping the seniors plan their annual activities. She also sponsors the Future Business Leaders of America. But most of her time is spent working on the composition of the pages you are about to read. Each year Mrs. Wisecarver works long and hard on this presentation of the school year. She not only works with the staff after school, but also does much yearbook work at home. This work is all extra. Her only compensation for it is the feeling of satisfaction that comes from doing a job well. Even though Mrs. Wisecarver’s timetable seems already filled, she still finds time to par- ticipate in such civic organizations as the Junior Woman’s Club. Thus, through much secret planning and a few untruths, which kept you unaware of this honor, we wish to show our appreciation to you, Mrs. Wise- carver, for all your earnest endeavors. Mrs. Wisecarver explains to Linda Wynkoop, assistant editor, and Pat Edens, editor-in-chief, what will go on each page of THE TALON. 4
