In the second act the Prescott family learned that Leaper's rich aunt, Miss Molly Cain is visiting all her kin with the object of leaving her fortune to the most needy nephew. The Prescott family in order to capture the money turns poverty-stricken, The third act involves the action necessary to bring all characters to a happy ending.
