Junzor Prophecy As Ruth Mltchell strolls slowly along the broad avenues of the huge metropohs Urmyvxlle toward her sprawhng estate on the banks of Sugar Creek she IS suddenly startled as a powerful hrnousme breaks to a halt besxde her She notes wxth surprlsed gladness that the drxver IS her old classmate Ahce Randolph After renewmg thexr qua1ntance they decxde to take a drlve to V1S1t some of the1r old classmates F1rst they drxve toward the huge daxry farm of the very successful Harold Lauten bach They fmd Harold bhssfully rock1ng to sleep the latest addltxon to the Lautenbach clan Harold 1ns1sts on showmg them h1s vast holdmg and they f1nd to thelr surprxse that lus da1ry manager IS none other than Lee Doyle After b1dd1ng goodbye to Harold and Lee they drove toward the world famous hos p1tal of Frankhn to v1s1t Harry Golns who because of a disagreement wxth state pohce man George .Tuhan who dxdn t be11eve Harry should take samples from the Frankhn lvlxnt where he ran the pr1nt1ng press IS recuperatlng from nurnerous bullet holes Imag1ne the1r surprxse upon arrzvxng at the hospltal to be greeted by Barbara that they v1s1t the world renowned lawyer Ray Eggers to see what hls br1ll1ant mmd can do to help Harry As they enter h1s huge offices who should they see powderxng her nose but Frances Sh1pp Frances says that Ray already has a chent vxsxtmg hun but for Ahce and Ruth to go 1n anyway for mt 15 only thexr old classmate Rachel Nay She IS securxng axd for her hus band who was presxdent and chxef stockholder m a vast network of hotels Ray says that he w1ll start legal act1on at once so that they may collect danlages to the extent of S15 000 000 00 caused by Charles Mattingly who threw one of h1s famous partzes and later m the evemng burned down the hotel so that he could get some hght It seems that Charles has had a long standlng fued w1th the hotel wh1ch he reserves as a hvmg quarters for hxmself when he IS mn town Charles does not approve of 1nd1rect lzghtmg w1th wh1ch the hotel was l1t, and had threatened for a long t1me to burn down the hotel so that for once the rooms could be properly hghted After securmg Ray s prom1se that he w1ll get Harry free Rachel Ruth and Ahce leave the vast offxces Stoppxng m the outer offrces to ask Frances to have lunch w1th them she accepts and the four of them leave the offlces confxdent that the class of 50 has been very successful 16 . . of . .
