JV Cheerleaders PERFORM I he enthusiastic and boisterous voices of the JV Cheerleaders echoed across the football field, in the gym at spirit assemblies, and JV football and basketball games. As their main goal was to promote spirit for the JV teams and Sophomore Class, they worked every day in a P.E. class and many times after school to perfect their routines and moves. Under the guidance of Miss Denice Mitchell, last year's advisor, the squad attended camp with the songlcadcrs and flagtwirlcrs. The talented group came home with a superior trophy as well as numerous ribbons for individual performances. Mrs. Barbara llodnett assumed the duties of advisor when school began in the fall. Most of this year's squad had many years of experience as shown in their precise cheers and chants, l ive of the girls attended Kenny Guinn Junior High, one attended Hyde Park, and one attended Cashman.
