Community support, cultural awareness are TFAC's goals TFAC. which stands for Together for o Change, was ocrive in o voriety of woys during the 1981-82 school year. As o community service, the group donoted food boskets for needy fomilies for Thanksgiving. TFAC group members sponsored o donee after o bosketboll gome or the beginning of the seoson. Members olso plonned for two academic ond one service scholarship awarded by the group. The advisors were Mrs. Priscilla Adams. Mr. Roy Wore, ond Mr. Doug Garner. The Spirit Group consisted of six dancers who performed at the Homecoming and Christmos assemblies ond at various bosketboll gomes. Members also helped with the TFAC dance in December. They hod various fund raisers throughout the year, some of which were bake sales ond candy sales. The group wos odvised by Mr. Doug Garner and co-advised by Mr. Raul Medrano. TFAC. Newspaper staffers use journalistic skills to record CHS life The 1981-62 newspaper staff consisted of three editors ond 18 stoff members. All stoff members hod importont jobs, eoch contributing ideas for stories that they thought would interest students ot Clork. The members of the stoff olso designed layouts, sold advertising, ond wrote oil copy.
