Eoch member rook responsibility for drawing loyouts, writing copy ond selecting pictures for the poges they hod to complete. In addition, sroff members sold the advertising needed to provide the book s financial support. There were three mojor deadlines to meet. For eoch deadline — December. January, ond Morch — one-third of the book had to be completed. Excluding the portroits. the three staff photographers took most of the pictures in the book; they shot ond printed the hundreds of pictures that went through the dorkroom.
