The Student Senate broke away from the norm this year and succeeded in choosing two presidents to head the Senate. Senior Dave Jaffe and Junior Brett Roehr were the co-presidents. Activities this year consisted of assisting the Homecoming Committee and organizing the newly created Welcoming Committee. Also falling under the jurisdiction of the Senate was the annual United Way food and money donation drive. Comprised of close to 30 students, the Homecoming Committee worked on a variety of chores in order to assure that this year's Homecoming would run smoothly. Not only was the committee responsible for decorating for the dance, but also was confronted with the task of sending invitations to Clark's outstanding alumni and creating the schedule for the annual Homecoming assembly.
