Dragonslayers relive medieval adventures through fantasy game For the past three years a group of imaginative students at Clark has met once a week to act out their fantasies in a game called Dungeons and Dragons. Dungeons and Dragons is a game in which a player rolls a group of oddly-shaped dice and takes an imaginary journey through a castle dungeon. To begin the game, players will roll the dice to determine what traits their character will have. They then consult a rule book to see what kind of adventure they will have. A player will travel through a dungeon. encountering beasts and dragons while trying to gain as much gold as possible. Because of the design of the game, there can be no real winner: but the difficulty of the adventure ‘and the amount of gold obtained usually determines the most successful player of the day. 4A loyors.
