Cross country team completes tough season with individual talent Th e cross country team this year had a very competitive season. The team trained hard over the summer months, but the competition proved just too much for the small Charger team. The Chargers had a struggling season but still had many strengths. The team leaders for the boys were sophomores Henry Holland and Doug Purdue, placing big wins in the Boulder City and Gorman invita-tionals. Usually placing first and second in almost all the meets. Carolyn Canella and Tish Stoebner proved to be the strength of the girls team. Next year we need runners or we ll lose the cross country program.
