NEW HORIZONS CHESS CLUB CLUB The New Horizons Club was formed to bring about a better acquaintance with the older and younger students on the campus. This is primarily a discussion group. The first Clark College Invitational Chess Tournament was sponsored bg the newly formed club. This year's winners were lst-Horst Keller, 2nd-Denni Grogg, 3rd-Dale Williams, and 4th-Bill Knudsen. The club strives to further that interest and to pro- mote the ideals of true sportsmanship. During the year the girls organized teams of various sports, and spent a great deal of their spare time practicing and improving their skills in these sports.
