INTRODUCTJON By any yard stick this 1978 yearbook has proved to be the most challenging to produce as well as the most rewarding tor all those involved. For two of us. the editor. Linton Harris and the advisorl Mittie Monteith, it represented the tinal chapter in a four-year involvement with the Clark yearbook. We leave it to our successors with trust. joy and confidence that the quality will continue to improve and that the responsibility for its production will remain with interested and committed students. The following poem beautifully expresses our patting sentiments and also indicates the strong feelings and high regard all yearbook staffers held for the yearbook generally and for its preparation and production this year in particular: I have been given a bag of tools, A fermless rock and a book of rules; And I must make. ere life has flown.
