Audean Duespohl. Diplomas were presented to twenty-four Associate of Science in Business Administra- tion graduates by Dean Marguerite VanLandingham and to four Associate of Science in Habilitative Service graduates by Dean Thomas Matcyznski. Congressman William Clinger and CUPA Alumni Association President Dennis Wickline were guest speakers. ABOVE — Joan McGreevy smiles after receiving her hard-earned degree. Graduation day started out with the sun shining brightly. As the processional began raindrops started falling and the ceremony had to be moved inside to the gymnasium. Senate Steak Fry Satisfies Appetites Between Classes The Student Senate held its biannual steak fry September 17, 1986 for students, faculty and their guests. The menu included steak, macaroni and potato salad, baked beans, and rolls, all furnished by local merchants. As in the past the steak fry was a huge success. Outing Club Sponsors Ride On Oct. 5, 1986 the Outing Club the way riders were given a sponsored a train ride on the Oil description of the towns that once Creek Titusville Railroad. Autumn Leaf Festival The Venango Campus Hallo- ween Dance was held October 30 in Rhoades Center. Prizes were awarded to the following students for their costumes: Gina Wolbert — Prehistoric Cavewoman; Spook Night!!! Molly LaCaze— Old Witch; T. J. It was no surprise that over 200 people showed up to glide through the air in one of the six planes operated by Al Andres, Herbert Holland, Bill Clark, Tom Harrington, Paul Schnoover, and Mark Trinch. The planes departed from Franklin Airport, circled around Venango Campus, and flew back to the airport for landing. BELOW— Steve Winger, Michele McCoy and Jane Gomola find the pizza delicious. CEC Sponsors Bloodmobile The 1986 Christmas Dinner Dance — A Grand Tradition The 1986 Christmas Dinner Dance was held December 5th at the Franklin Club. Main dishes in- cluded a choice of sauteed sirloin tips or stuffed flounder. Music was provided by Parradoxx. Door prizes, centerpieces that graced the tables and a nativity scene, were awarded to students. During a special ceremony. Dr. Rookey filled a time capsule which will be buried next to Suhr Library. Some items put in the capsule were a champagne glass from the dance, a fall semester class schedule, a Wednesday Bulletin , a student handbook and a 1986 PATHFINDER.
