It is at this time that we would like to look back on our days here at Venango CampuS ' aTii! thank those who have helped and supported us in our efforts to further our education. We, the Yearbook Staff, wish to dedicate this yearbook to DALPH 0. COOK. m ' - Dalph 0. Cook, Assistant Professor of Biology at Clarion State College, obtained his Mas- ters of Science at Syracuse University. He has completed additional graduate work at Central Michigan University and Penn State University. Mr. Cook spent several years in the Armed Services, which he feels taught him, among other things, self-discipline. He regrets not mak- ing the service his career. How fortunate for us! In the classroom he is an endless source of wit and wisdom. He can explain complex topics in easy, understandable terms and is always ready to offer help whenever and wherever he can. He always has time for students and stu- dent learning regardless of the effort involved. We appreciate his willingness to give of himself and his time and acknowledge his loyalty as a close friend. We have shared times both socially and professionally with Mr. Cook which will always be remembered. I learned from the Army that when you have a job to do, no matter how distasteful, that you do that job to the best of your ability. These are the admirable standards he sets for him- self and his students. He is most importantly, a dynamic vital person who cares deeply enough for others to give of himself. We hope this dedication adequately expresses the gratitude, respect, and warmth that we feel for Mr. Dalph 0. Cook.
