The college experience is a unique one, for It brings together a number of generations in Intimate, often intense, contact. The learning of Information, the sharing of Ideas, the exchange of emotions, the anxiety and the satis- faction are all part of the living- learning environment, and provide each, of us with growth experiences whose meaning become clearer only with the passing of years and the unfolding of each of our destinies. I hope each of you has had a meaningful experience and will look back fondly on your years at Venango Campus. Each one of us has to construct a meaning for our existence, and It is my hope that your experience at Venango will provide you with a small portion of the material necessary for the task. What Venango Campus is and has been for the past twelve years can be accredited to the contributions and dedication of one man, Mr. Frank Clark. Mr. Clark graduated from Indiana State Teacher ' s College and received his M.S. A. from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He continued to work on his degree at the University of Pittsburgh. Mr. Clark spent two summers in England studying at Royal Holloway College and Wroxton. Before coming to Venango Campus in the summer of 1%7, Mr. Clark taught Lan- guage Arts at Cranberry High School. Hew was Acting Administrative Head at V ' n- ango Campus from 1976 to 1977. Mr. Clark has contributed greatly to Venango Campus by his profound dedication in Speech, Communications, and Theatre Pro- duction. He was instrumental in arranging productions with Community Playhouse of Oil City and as a result, Venango Campus has hosted many fine theatrical produc- tions. We the Pathfinder staff of Venango Campus, are honored to be able to dedicate the 1979 Pathfinder to Mr. Frank Clark. m u T.
