Joe Andreo Joe ' s home is Darragh, Pennsylvania. A former high school coach suggested that he come to Clarion to play football. For four seasons Joe has juggled with center and half-back positions and has been a valuable man on the squad. He is president of Alpha Gamma Phi frater- nity and a member of the Outdoor Club. Quiet, matter- of-fact, pleasant dispositioned — that ' s Joe — our strong, silent man. Michael Bedzyk Mike first saw C. S. T. C. on registration day. He was lured to Clarion by a friend ' s promise of a job along with a college education. Now his ambition is to make Clarion a permanent home. Mike has won the titles of C. S. T. C ' s best sport and athlete. He is a charter member and the first president of the Zeta Eta Phi fraternity. His majors are geography and social studies, and in addi- tion he holds an elementary certificate. David Bowser Dave returned to C. S. T. C. this winter to complete his work for a bachelor of science degree in education. He first obtained a certificate in the elementary field in 1935 and has had two years teaching experience to his credit along with the acquisition of a wife and family. Dave is one of these silent wedded men who has little to say about himself. 19 3 8 SENIORS [19

Ruth Ehman Ruth came back to ' . S. T. ( ' . the firsl semester of ' 37- ' 38 to finish and secure her bachelor ' s degree in educaton, specializing in the elementary field. She secured her two year certificate in 19:i ' . She is a member of the Theta Alpha Lambda social sorority. Ruth ' s pet hobby is dancing. She and Bail ey were voted the best dance team on the campus in the popular most and best ballot this year. Louise Furlong Louise ' s interests are diversified. She has been a mem- ber of the Art, Press. Geography, International Relations, and (ilee Clubs, Pi Gamma Mu honorary fraternity, and the College Players. Her apparent interest in clubs has won her the club editorship of the Sequelle for 1938. Louise ' s home is in Clarion. She is a member of the Delta Sigma Epsilon sorority and is the present secretary of that organization. Florence Gathers Daily for four years Flossie ' s Chevey has trans- ported her from Shippenville to Clarion. It is so much a part of her that the thought of one leads lo tl ther. Since sports are her hobby, naturally she devotes her extra-curricular time to such activities. She is a member of the Women ' s Athletic Association. For two successive years she has won the ping pong championship. She is a past president of the Sigma Delta Phi sorority. SENIORS 19 3 8 [ 20
