The manv happy memories of our Freshman Year revert to our skating parties, our dance. and last but not least, 1nitiation,,' will always remain with us, In reminiscence of our Sophomore year we recall that only 66 of our 71 members had re- turned. After the Hrst few weeks of getting used to our schedules, we called a class meeting and elected the following officers: President-Clair Miller, Vice-President-Dick Hildebrand, Secre- tary-Peggy lieinsel, Treasurer-Cene Daugh- erty. During this year we sponsored several skat- ing parties and had several dances after the Fri- day night basketball games. We left at the close of the year looking for- ward to our coming junior year. September, 1946, found us back in school as jolly juniors. WVe welcomed many new stu- dents from Corsica and Hawthorn and now there are 77 members in our class. The first month was uneventful except for organizing our class and electing our officers who are as follows: President-Chauncey Shick. Vice- President-Ronald Skidmore, Secretary-Peggy Reinsel, Treasurer-John Mohnev. Our class has manv members on the basket- ball team and on the cheerleading squad of whom we are all proud. ln October our class sponsored the movie, To Each His Ownf' in which we surpassed every other class in profit. We bade farewell to the month of October with a hilarious Halloween party. The next few months rolled past without any high moments, until january 1, when we at long last received our class rings. Needless to say we were all very pleased! Now everyone in the Iunior and Senior Classes are looking forward to that special occa- sion-The Junior Prom. The date has been set for May 9, 1947.
