,Sp omore-Kfcm 4 7 HISTORY OF SOPHOMORE CLASS Last year we were a group of young care free Freshmen. We liked all the members of our faculty and with their help we have progressed rapidly. This year we, the Sophomore Class, numbering 47 students, entered the portals of Clarion-Limestone on September 6, 1944, looking forward to a pros- perous school term. Our first meeting was held on September 16, in Mr. Riley's room. We elected the class officers. At our second meeting we discussed the initiation of the Freshmen and decided on a number of humorous things for them to do. We also decided to have a skating party which was held at Brookville Novembr 24, 1944. Our class is divided into two groups. The A group is under the super' vision of Mr. Bird Riley and the B group sponser is Miss lrene Evans. To prove we are an ambitious class we have Sophomores in the band, Orchestra, Chorus, and on the basketball team. Many of the girls helped with the Golden Rule banquet which was a real success. We are looking forward to our junior year, ready for new adventures and striving to infprove ourselves, hoping that some day the school will be proud of us. C-L Panorama -- Z6
