So Wrote the great Shakespeare many many years ago, and so, indeed, has the pas- sage ot time proved life to be in this world of ours, over and over again. ln reality the his- tory ot all the great nations is merely the stories of their heroes, as they come and go on the stage ot action, play their parts, and then go the Way of all humanity , and leave the stage clear for the appearance of the next players. Soon the great curtain is to rise for each ot you seniors upon the great drama of your lite. As you face the inevitable hour when you must step forth upon the great stage of life to meet the real tests ot your career, it is natural to look back over the drama that has already been presented and wonder just how Well it has achieved its fundamental purposefnamely, that ot preparing each of you to play his part :nost successfully. Every teacher along the way has done his best in assisting you to develop your personality and abilities to the highest degree possible. And now, with anxious hearts and best wishes for your future success, we throw the flaming torch to you, hoping that you will be able to meet the tests of lite as they arise and to carry on the highest ideals and traditions of your Alma Mater.
