THE SENIORS FRANCIS PALO This year makes Fran his second at C.-L. Basketball player both years. Played the part of 'fthe preacher in UI-Ienry's Mail Order Wife. Industrious and a hard worker. LOIS RANKIN A quiet, dark-haired girl who comes from near Kings- ville. One of the Rankin Sis- ters who sings alto. Her favorite sports are basket- ball and mushball. Henry's Mail Order Wife. DAN REIGHARD Better known as Rick, A professional joker and a wizard behind the steering wheel. Also a good mechan- ic. Very innocent - every time something happens, he gets the blame. EVELYN REYNOLDS Evelyn is a very quiet girl but once you really know her, she's lots of fun. Her future is a mystery to all of us. Either she hasn't decided or maybe she doesn't want it known. ADA RUTH SERVEY Another Spring. One of our basketball players. Arn- bition is to be an Air Stew- ardess. A good student and faithful friend to all. Prefers Shannondale to Clarion, I wonder why? Best of Luck, Ada! ! ! LUCILLE PA SQUERETTE saD0llyvv A quiet girl but always ready for action. She is a friend to everyone. She is in- terested in her school work -also a black Chevrolet. Loves to play the accordion. She wants to be a beatician. BERNICE REED Bernice is our brunette from New Bethlehem. She is the quiet girl of the Senior class. She likes to take vaca- tions of her own choicef fabout two days a week.J Is very fond of a Doverspike. DOROTHY JEAN REINSEL One of our honor students. She is usually seen with Phyllis Love. Wants to be a secretary. What about the boy from Limestone, Dot? Murdered Alive. Grand- ma's Fling. MARY REYNOLDS Mary lives in the vicinity of Mechanicsville. She is a member of the orchestra and Band. Her desire is to become a research worker in Chemistry. Simple Simon Simple. ROSS SHINGLEDE CKER A little friendly person. Hails from North Corners. He keeps the teachers in a good humor by telling them jokes. Appears regularly on the honor roll. All the girls like Ross' cute ways.

JOSEPH MCDONALD Hails from the suburbs of Strattanville. Ambition is to be a lawyer. Hobby is wr- guingf' Even though van- quished he can argue still. Henry's Mail Order Wife GEORGE MILLER Sparks From An Old Flame. The school activity that .interests him most is playing hooky . Has a 1934 Ford that knows the road to Shannondale. He thinks a lot of the name Miller. KENNETH MILLER Ken is the bashful boy of the Senior Class. One of our star basketball players. His chief ambition is to be a sec- ond Sherlock Holmes. He played the part of Big Brother in Another Spring. NORA MILLER Our Nookie hails from Clarion. Clara in Sparks From An Old Flame. One of the well-known Miller girls who is very attractive to a certain little Limestone boy. Always on the honor roll. ANNA LUTZ One of our very attractive blonds from Clarion. A star guard in basketball. Received basketball letters 3 years. Played one of the leading characters in Grandma's Fling. CLEO MILLER Cleo has a pleasing personal- ity and is very active in her work, but likes to take little vacations. Cleo's favorite sport is Volley-Ball. We are all proud of Cleo. GRACE MILLER Grace hails from Frogtown and is one of those girls who think more of having a good time than studying. She thinks Miller a nice name and cannot part with it. Mary in Sparks From An Old Flame. LLOYD MILLER Sports editor for the boys B. B. team. Very industrious in shop. All the girls fall for that wavy hair. We're sure he knows the road to ?- ?- ?-?- ?. JOHN MONREAN Drives a 1939 Ford, has a smile for everyone, and is very talkative. John likes to take vacations quite often. He is very fond of Industrial Arts.

Mrs. Simple in Simple Simon Simple. RANDALL SMITH A master mind in mathema- tics. Likes Science and Phy- sical Education. Likes to tell stories-heh, Palo?? A good fellow. IORS PAULINE SHOWERS An ambitious little girl with a great big heart. She is in everything w o r t h w h i l e. Cheer-leader, O r c h e s t r a, Band, Chorus, Another Spring, and Shakespearean reader in the County Foren- sic Contest. LOUISE SIVERLING Louise is one of C.-L.'s honor students. She enjoys short- hand, typing and popular music as well as dancing. A happy lassie for whom we wish the best of luck. LOUISE SMATHERS Girls' Basketball Manager for 1940-41. Another Spring. Secretary of the Senior class. Won second prize in the American Le- gion essay contest. Likes the name Harry. Usually seen with Fran S. LOIS SMITH One of our Shannondale las- sies!
