','Big Al did not make us an offer we couldn't refuse. Disregard two of the pictures here and note the third- Little Al. Now, how could such an innocent looking little guy be so cruel and force- ful? ls this the face of a tyrant who takes sadistic pleasure in handing out quarter errors like under- world murder contracts? Could this harmless infant wave a paddle as if it were a tommy gun, or carry out vengeful massacres on countless fish, frogs, starfish, and other helpless creatures? Cer- tainly one so cute wouldn't laugh at students' agonizing pleas for mercy, and pretend to play a 'violin in mocking pity! , ' ' Well, all good things end, people grow older, and Little Al went on to be Big Al, and even to day continues these monstrous deeds. But through all this, he emerges as a favorite teacher .of all his students--and this 'year's class is no exception. We think you're great, Mr. Arth, so we are dedicating this yearbook to you. a
