She also takes pleasure in camp- ing and in being out of doors, Barb feels that the present school system is outdated and inefficient. Barb's future plans tenta- tively include a law career. She wishes she could give up English speeches, cold classrooms, and crowds for animals or extra time out-of-doors. Her future plans are indefinite. Terry prefers snow and hiking in quiet places to noisy, polluted cities. He believes the gears of mankind must be further snychronized in order to obtain added progress. Being broke, getting up early, and loafing bore her. Beth would like to further her education at some time, but for now she would like to enjoy herself and keep smiling, because it makes people wonder.
