Mr. Johansen has been Superintendent of the Clarinda Pub- lic Schools since 1931 and is admired and respected by all who know him. He is now a member of the Executive Board of Educational Examiners of the State Depart' ment of Public Instruction. Mr. Johansen, we thank you for your guidance through these happy school years. In order to fol- low a democratic system, the members are selected by their fellow students. They talk over the problems of the school and help to plan such events as homecoming and clean-up day.
