The if Clarinda team could have won more games if there had been K M in each player a burning desire to play football to his utmost ability. This desire, however, was not entirely lacking. ln 4, the Shenandoah game, the Cardinals played inspired foot- ' 0 ball, football they were capable of playing in every game. Clarinda was also hampered by injuries to key players during the entire season.
