C For Claridon The Clandon Senior Band ts composed of two dlVlS10l'lS the marchmg band and the concert band These band are very active tn allschool functxons andoutside activities The Semor Band xs ranked as one of the top bands tn tlus area and is a worthy credlt to the school and commumty Snappy new band coats and sparklxng drums and cymbals were purchased for the band by the Booster Club and School Board durxng the past season. The bands are very proud of these new arucles and w1sh to extend thear heartfelt thanks to those responslble for these purdmases The marclung band composed of 50 members had a very busy season performing at each football game and presenttng an entxrely dlfferent half ttme show at each game They marched ID Marlon for the Halloween Parade Veterans Day Parade and the Horse Show Parade They also played for a hockey game at the Cohseum. The concert band composed of 54 members also had a very busy season Three concerts were gxven at the school thts year one at Christmas one for the Booster Club and a sprmg fesuval. The band followed the basketball team to the tournaments and appeared each nme the team played The real work began at contest mme At Dlstnct Contest wluch was held at Bascom, the band recelved a superior ranng, the only band to do so 1n Class C I m Dxstnct 2 Thxs made them ehgxble for the State Contest ln Columbus on Aprxl 28 Agam they recetved a superlor ranng, for the second year tn a row Thxs was a great honor for only three bands tn the state m Class C I recetved this htgm rating 179 501131 M-'ill SUCH 231 west Center Street Marion. 01110 Marlon, Oluo HARDEN'S MUSIC STORE SEARS AND ROEBUCK CO
