These ideals are the culmination of the ef-. forts and the contributions, the visions and the aspirations, of the manv students who have entered its doors, trod its cor- ridors, and who have received its salutary influence. On leaving, thty have bequeathed to us the will to attain still higher sta is, the desire for increased wisdom, and the enthusiasm to carry high the banner of our school--all of which is but the essence of tl1e spirit of CHS and CIC. When the fleeting years have carried you far from the shadows of these sturdy buildings, and the memories of your school days have grown dim, it is the sincere wish of the staff that this, your l952 Broncho-Bulldog, may carry you back on the silent wings of thought to your Alma Mater and rekindle the tender memories of bygone days. The staff has spared neither time, nor expense, to portray the spirit, the traditions, and the activities of your school. Especially do we desire to express our deep appreciation to Mr. Larry Grundy and Mr. W.C. Larimer. co-sponsors, for with- out their unselfish devotion of toilsome hours to the compila- tion aspect, without the characteristic efficiency with which they directed the organization of materials, this book of hallowed memories would be but a shattered dream rather than the glorious success which -it is.
