It is their aim to put the students on a basis where they can take advantage of the many opportunities which present themselves and at the same time come into closer touch with each other. This has been accomplished to a remarkable degree. ' Then, too, the association publishes the Clarco and the Wester. They have done this successfully for many years and are meeting greater success every year. The honor council deserves a special mention for it is so square and fair with its dealings with the students. The student Association which makes the publication voted to make some large improvements on it this year. First they decided to print it twice per month instead of once. Then to make it more modern and satisfactory they enlarged the size to that of a newspaper, making the printing space more than four times as large per month than ever before. The staff chosen at the beginning of school for this immediately went to work and made it a big go. They have set a standard in college magazine work which will hold the record for a long time. If every succeeding year has as successful publications there need be no fear for the College spirit on that score.
