' fftdletda 744 Immediately upon the opening of the school term, this energetic group of girls began its sports calendar for the year. The sports offered for participation to all girls were archery, speedball, volleyball, bowling, table tennis, basketball, badmin- ton, baseball, tennis and golf. The girls were hostesses to an all lea gue vollyball playday at Clarenceville. They also hostessed a mother-daughter playnight which was quite successful and where everyone had a great deal of fun. Close co-operation with the Stud ent Council produced the Homecoming dance. Some of the issues which concerned the council greatly were types of dress for boys, better use of the public address s y s t e m, the approving of all posters by council, revision of the Student Council Constitution, and distribution of the money obtained from the magazine sale.
