The sports offered for participation to all girls were archery, speedball, volleyball, bowling, table tennis, basketball, badmin- ton, baseball, tennis and golf. The girls were hostesses to an all lea gue vollyball playday at Clarenceville. They also hostessed a mother-daughter playnight which was quite successful and where everyone had a great deal of fun. Close co-operation with the Stud ent Council produced the Homecoming dance. The Trojan Tattler received a face lifting job with the offset print type. With this new machine, the paper became easier to read and much easier to produce. Between papers and news deadlines, the class studied the journalistic method and style of writing, copywriting, and collected and rewrote their news for the next deadline.
