SenlorCIass Gfflcers Presrdent Rrchard Godette Vrce Presldent Glenn Reed Secretary Joyce Tunberlake Treasurer Nancy 'vioore lass Hlstor On the frfteenth day of September, 1951, a group of eager fresh men assembled together to orgamze a class whrch would work together as a team for four years Under the sponsorshrp of MISS Myers, Mr Prottengurr, and Mrss Rmhardson, the class elected Robert Gross Presldent, Robert Snell, vrce presrdent, Joyce Trmberlake, secretary, Sharon Moreland, treasurer For class projects that year, the class sold C I-LS beanres, and presented the Shamrock Shuffle As sophomores, they elected R1chard Robenault to lead the class as presrdent. Also leadmg the class was Robert Snell, v1ce presxdent, Joyce Tnnberlake, secretary, and Pan-rcra Byrnes, treasurer The out standrng dance of the year wluch the Sophomores presented was called Out of Thrs World Also durzng the year the class chose as thelr class flower an rce blue carnauon and as class colors, zce blue and whrte Events to be remembered during then' Junior Yea' mcluded Blue Hawan,' the annualJ Hop P1stol Pete, the class play and the Junror Semor Banquet, Those who were elected to hold offlces that year were Rlchard Godette, president Richard Robenault, vlce presldent, Joyce Tlmberlake, secretary, and Nancy Moore, treasurer At last came the year all had been anxrously awa1t1ng, They were Senlors and, as such, they be- gan to work toward then' class trrp to New York Clty. To help fmance thexr tnp, they sold Chnstmas cards, stanonery, bracelets, potato Ch1pS after school and refreshments at all track and baseball games. Mem or1es from thxs year mclude a class play, Mother IS a Freshman , the Jumor-Semor Banquet, class partres, the Snow Flake Flurry , and the Semor Prom, Oren t1a1 Fantasy .
