Fresh groves grow up, and their green branches shoot toward the old and still-enduring skies. - Vaughan - The Timber The fresh, growing branch of the tree is the one which, fortified in spirit and strength, reaches for the sky. It grows from a mere twig into a leader, the uppermost of the branches, the one closest to our eye. The Senior Class is such a branch. It is looking toward the future and is, indeed, the vibrant, living, and aspiring focal point of the tree. Each Senior will have his goal, whatever it may be, and he will reach and aspire like the green tree branch for a higher level of living, out in the vast infinite beyond. St -V , ,f.
