III i' Judy Gregor reads the Secretary s report to the Senlor class at a class meetmg CLASS HISTORY Here at C C S as seventh and erghth graders we spent most of our trme tryrng to get accustomed to hemg m Junror Hrgh A Freshmen under the able leadershxp of Hank Bo1es we maugurated our campargn to rarse money It all began wrth the school store whlch we trred very hard to make a profrtable enterprrse We had the expenence of present mg our f1rst brg dance whrch was the Frosh Frolrc camouflaged under the theme of Cherry Pmk and Apple Blossom Whrte A a result of these events our class treasury began to show that we possessed a consrder able amount of m1t1at1ve Ln our Sophomore year strll under the gurdmg hand of Hank Bo1es we embarked upon sellrng Chrrstmas cards early rn the year and also trred our hand at sellrng candy for basketball games The Soph Hop had us dancrng rn a Prnk Fantasy Followrng thrs gala affarr The Hound Dog Revrew dance proved to be a brg success At the begrnnmg of our Junror year we elected Jeanette Wantuck as our presrdent We began to realrze that our remarnrng ume 1n hrgh school was growmg short A glonous evenmg was spent at our Junror prom known as Mystrc Mood Queen Jeanette Wantuck and Krug Ron Knrght were surrounded by at tendants Lmda Parmenter Ron Sherry Pen ny Wrllrams and Mrke Grbson Many of our boys partrcrpated rn Varsrty sports and re cerved varrous honors The grrls also had an opportunrty to take part m sports when the Grrls Athletrc Assocratron was started Mar ue Erss Sandy Sebera Jrm Baker and Mlke Crtrzenshrp Conference Sandy Sebera and Jrm Baker spent a week at Emprre Grrls and Boys State Dave Johnson Bruce Hrgley and Sandy Sebera were members of the Model Unrted Natrons conference held rn Buffalo Wrth the dawnmg of our most rmportant year the Semor year we elected Donna Sher man as President Butch Srmonm as Vrce Presrdent Hank Bo1es as Treasurer and Judy Gregor as Secretary Early in the year our Saga work began wrth Carol Selm headmg the staff as Edrtor in Chref One of our brg gest projects was the magazme sale whrch was carrred on wrth much enthusrasm The top salesmen were Bucky Walters and Kathy Browne The Senror Play Nrght Must Fall was a suspense frlled drama that tumed rnto a comedy due to the efforts of our classmates Our Chnstmas Dance Le Mrrage d Hrver pro vrded much enjoyment for all who attended Ron Knrght and Lmda Parmenter rergned as Krng and Queen of our wrnter spectacle Now as we thrnk of our years spent at C C S we look forward to Jtme 1958 wrth our eyes all aglow and rn our mmds we recall the happr ness we shared and the frrends we made P. .S K, . -.
