Class Hisfory l A , Selling refresh- ments, A suc- cessful paper drive. Junior C lass Officers , Checking Wraps. Oriental Gardens , m I 1 I. fx -i'4'w'T 145W i. rg, as Sampling the punch at Christmas dance. We, the class of 1957, were the first 7th grade to drop anchor in this building and com- plete our high school years here . As Freshmen, under the capable leadership of our president, Sharleen Brushaber, we began our money-mak- ing campaign by managing the school store . Our first big class dance, the Frosh Frolic, had everyone talking about our theme, Ebb Tide The title of Sophomores, with john Roneker as president, gave us greater confidence in our Senior high school career. Our Soph Hop found everyone Swinging on a Star. Gene Smith showed our class his athletic potentialities by being a part of our undefeated varsity football team . At the beginning of our junior year, john Roneker again took office as president . john Roneker and Judy Wade were crowned king and queen in our Oriental Garden. Our junior Play, Men are Like Streetcars, had everyone laughing at the hilarious episodes of our teen- ager, Maudie, portrayed by Connie Stark. Our classmates honored us by receiving many a- wards . With the dawning of our last year, the class elected Gayle Lewis to guide them through this year. Plans were immediately made for our dinner dance at Transit Valley Country Club. Our magazine sales added to our treasury bal- ance with Bob Lenz achieving the honor of top salesman. The Saturday paper drives provided an exciting as well as a profitable time . This year proved to be very busy especially when practices began for our Senior Play, Letters to Lucerne Mistletoe Magic at our Christmas Dance provided an enchanting time for everyone . Gene Smith and Gayle Lewis were crowned king and queen . As our well-guided course through C.C.H.S. has come to a close, we realize that we are once again about to raise anchor and trim our sails for the unknown course of the future . 16 Letters to Lucerne.
