HE curtam falls on the last act actlv1ty ceases the theater 1S darkened the crowd emerges 1nto the l1ght happy to have been a part 1n an enl1ven1ng drama but regretful that It so soon passes So we as Sen1ors are hopeful as the drama of our school 11fe draws to a close The footllghts flashed on the trumpets gave a flour1sh and the curtams parted on the f1rst act of our h1gh school drama Th1s act centered around Bruce Beale Pres1dent Ray Shlsler V1ce Presxdent, and jean Van Buren Secretary Treasurer Our dlrectors were M1ss Cox and Mrs Esten Bemg more accustomed to the stage the actors possessed more self confldence 1n th1s act Our Presldent Ray Sh1sler was ably asslsted by 11m Hazelton V1ce Presldent James Brophy Treasurer and Glor1a Hawes Secretary Our adv1sers were M1ss Neu and Mrs D1nwood1e A h1ghl1ght of th1s act was the Sophomore Hop Once aga1n the theater darkened and a hush fell over the audlence who were antlcxpatlng the cllmax and fallmg actlon of the play That year our class went on to even greater achxeve tary and james Brophy Treasurer Our jumor play Don t Darken My Door under the dl rectlon of M1ss Ollver was a smash h1t The cl1ma.x of our jumor year came w1th our unsur passed Iumor Prom The success of th1s year was largely due to the efforts of our adv1ser Mlss O11ver At last the curtams part for the f1nale of our productlon We wlsely chose for our stars 1n th1s xmportant act V1rg1n1a Raquet Presldent, Tom O Connor VICE Presldent janet Flesher Secretary and yours truly james Brophy Treasurer Thxs act started w1th a smash h1t en tltled ' He Couldn't Marry Flve our hard fought for Semor play agam dlrected by the one and only Mxss Olxver The long antlclpated Semor Ball and the b1g day graduatlon ended our Broadway run wlth a flourlsh Now we are ready to set out mto the world some to further educatlonal fxelds, others to the realm of busmess and lndustry Perhaps 1n days to come thls book may act as a souvemr program of a most lnterestlng program 2 .
