With Miss Jerge and Miss Gibson as advisers we have risen even above our past made records. On November 11, we sponsored a Sadie Hawkins Dance and once again proved our abilities to put a dance over successfully. The gym was decorated in brown and yellow and the art displayed was the only thing needed to top the occasion. Again this year another of our classmates left school to join the Navy, Robert Payne. More of the fellows expect to leave either before school is out or just after graduation. We’re proud of all the fellows from Parker who are in the service, but especially are we proud of the boys from the Class of '45 who are serving their country. We think of them many times in school, but especially will we remember them at graduation, wishing they BETTY SUGG Suggie Homemaking Course Beautician ROBERT J. Without her aid and advice we would have been tempted to give up several times while preparing it. The first of our class to leave school to enter the service was Calvin Tarbell, who joined the Navy. At the end of rthe year Charles Olendorf was taken into the Army. We're proud of both of them and miss them; our classes aren't complete without them but we realize that they are doing a job that has to be done for our country. September 25, 1944. March 22 and 23, 1945, the Senior Play, “Shadows In The Night, was given under the capable direction of Miss Oliver. Even though we were unable to give a play in our Junior year, our welbchosen cast proved that even in this field, we rank with the best. In fact, we topped it off with a “silent bang. There are still a number of reddetter days to which we look forward. Among them are Class Day and the Senior Ball, climaxed by Graduation. This June we are to leave, but no matter where we seek our individual careers, there will always be a place in our hearts for our Alma Mater. To the classes that follow, we wish the best of luck, and most of all we hope that Parker High will mean as much to them as it does to us. BURT WITNAUER Bun” College Entrance
