Board of Education We wish to take this opportunity to thank the members of the Board of Education for their untiring service to us, the students of Parker High. We are grateful for the constant efforts they have made to furnish us with the best of building facilities, admin- istration officers, and teaching staff. Equally do we appreciate that other gift, intangible but precious, which they offer us,—namely, their unfaltering interest and belief in our hopes, our longings, and our dreams. Back Row: Messrs. Heeb, Payne, W. Hoffman, Freeman. Front Row: Messrs. Hughes, Burns, Schutt, Choate (Absent), J. Hoffman, 9

The Class of 1943 and its Editorial Staff are to be congratulated on their production of the Saga this year. The members of this class have carried on their regular classroom work and school activities, as evidenced by this yearbook, in the traditional American way of high school life, in spite of added war activities, such as scrap drives, war saving bond and stamp sales. Red Cross work, Victory Corps Activities, airplane spotting and emergency farm work. The community can well be proud that as you, the largest class in the history of Parker High School take your place in a nation at war, the experiences, activities and education which you have received at Parker High School, give you cquility of opportu- nity with others like you throughout the land, who graduate this June. Your parents and friends can be assured that the prestige which this school has had for so many years will be safe in your hands, and will be carried onward and upward by you. The faculty joins with me in wishing all of you Godspeed and the very best of luck and success as you leave us and enter upon the active duties of adult life. Horace D. Myers, Principal 10
