Kenneth Moore was one of the cheer leaders during the 1937-38 sports season. Allen Butler is the chief athlete of the Class. The principal social event of the year was a skating party at Scott’s Rink in Buffalo. The history of the Freshmen Class is not very long but is quite interesting. The youngsters were initiated by the Sophomores. Among the vari- ous ceremonies, the Freshmen had to carry the Sophomore’s books, wear large shoes, and signs on their backs saying Green Freshmen”,

They showed their good sportsmanship by executing our wishes. Our contributions to the sports of Parker are: Allen Mitzel, Bernard Kapuza, Vincent Muffoletto, and Edward Kuehlewind. During the year we have been the proud possessors of the banking banner. We have also had the home room appearance banner twice. At the close of school in June, approximately five of our members will receive the badge of merit, the fourth award.
