f H LusbdcJl DepctAjh cb In the Industrial Arts classes, students learn to appreciate industrial processes and a general understanding of the various fields of work that may lead to employment in industry. In Shop I the students learn the art of working with tools and wood. In Shop II, they are offered advanced tool operation and experience in advanced working and specializing in selected trades. In Driver’s Education, the students are instructed under expert guidance to become conscientious drivers. They acquire the basic concepts, attitudes, and habits that are needed to become a good citizen driver.

 Our History Department is designed to help students learn about their heritage, learn more about their essential background history, help him to adjust more readily to his environment, and prepare him for true citizenship. The courses acquaint the students with important economic, social, and political problems of the past, present, and future. (fJjbJtol qmjI Physical) The Health Department is divided into two semester courses. The first semester offers Psychology and the sec- ond semester course is Physiology. In these classes, the student can learn to adjust to social problems, but he can also learn personal cleanliness. This course is very necessary for senior students in particular to help them mature mentally.

 MR. LINGENFELTER The Band, like anything else, must have teamwork to become extra good and we think that our band is the best. The students must put in many hard hours of practicing at home and at school, but they also get much en- joyment from their work. Our band is steadily growing in size and quality. No school is complete without a chorus and along with a fine vocal instructor, we have many students in- terested in choral and vocal music. During the school year, the chorus puts on many fine performances and each year we are very proud of their work.
