Zebrans Pep Club Queen MABEL BELL 62 Zhe Zebra Staff 1955 Here we are, the faithful few, who were responsible for producing THE ZEBRA, 1955. Garrison, wizard of the typewriter, could continue typing, although he had a portable resting on a hassock. Doug, the editor, looked concerned about the outcome of the picture. Sandra, very serious (looking), was con- cerned also. As usual. Nancy just smiled and Donna looked up from a page. Busy, Gloria, associate editor, knew how important it was for her to finish a task before going to Norman March 1, 2, 3, to the Career Conference. Doug Young found an interesting picture, but Darrell, our business manager, waited smilingly for the birdie to fly out. Mary, that layout specialist and staff photographer, was a little anxious, too, but we insisted that she should not shoot this picture. Joy either looked down or closed her eyes, and Shir- ley found something amusing. I posed on the arm of the divan. Mabel, who slaved over the page of achievements of seniors, did not get here at all. Because Doug was called to Ft. Sill to take some of his examinations for entrance to West Point, and Gloria was in Norman, it fell to me to write this sketch concerning THE STAFF. Probably the work on the 1955 ZEBRA, and their close association has given each of them a deeper appreciation of friend- ship and loyalty. I have enjoyed working with them, and we all hope that you like THE ZEBRA 1955. The Sponsor CADET GRILL 513 W. Will Rogers Blvd. MR. AND MRS. VIRGIL SMITH Welcome You Here.
