S. Benson. Striving simultaneously to achieve a sound acadeniic and financial basis lor the college. Dr. I cnsori has. bv tireless effort, succeeded in leading Claremont through the trying period of infancy. He is well qualified for this work, having received degrees from Pomona College, the University of Illinois, and Harvard University.
