9 to 5 - excuse me, there's c1Hyinrny soup! Complaints such as this were dealt with daily by those students who worked, many of whom were employed by local businesses. Why did these students choose to work? Senior Brent Gorris claimed he had to pay for dates, car insurance, and food. Junior Lisa Sheya agreed, I have to pay for my own car insurance, clothes, and anything else like skiing. However, many people had more hu- morous experiences while on the job, Jim Horne announced, One time when I was going to work I had to fight off a dog with a water bottle just to get to the doorl Paige Papineau declared that she, got to meet guys all the time, while she worked at the Griswold's Post Office. The post office has long been known as the singles hangout for students. While working was generally considered a drag, most students agreed that the extra money did come in handy.
