With much excitment Brod Boiley wos given the throne. I wos reolly hoppy ond ex- cited for him! He deserves it, soid princess Kristen Dells, Following the rolly the porode be- gon molsing its journey oround Clore- mont, Senior Kimberly Rountree commented, We oll missed hoving the floors since thot is the trodition. But, Hey! The closs of 1988 mode history! Thot's true! This wos the very first yeor in the history of CHS thot roin prevented the floots from being completed ond shown in the porodel The Mondoy ofter. Usuolly when Homecoming hos come to o close the only thing left is memories ond picture to be developed. But, woit! We still hod one night left of floot building! Although the spirit wos be- ing stretched o little, once ogoin o crowd of dedicoted homecoming porticiponts showed up ot the district office to put on the finishing touches on the floors. Competition wos tense but the Seniors were reloxed ond hoving o blost os they worlsed on the lost floot ever to be completed by the infomous closs of 1988. The following doy ot lunch the floots oppeored in centrol quod for judging. A shocking first prize went to the Freshmen with their Mexicon Floor. The Sophomore's floot repre- sented the orient, the Juniors rep- resented Switzerlond ond the Seniors were the Egyptions!
