Through her teaching and guidance we have become more creative in our Thinking and more appreciative of the creative efforts of others. Deeply involved in all high school events, here is a woman who, because of her numerous outstanding qualities, is never wtihout some advisory iob. Yet without a minute to call her own, she is willing to take on still more. So it is to you, Miss Palmer, as the Power behind our Personalities, that the El Espiritu staff dedicates this annual. 5522: l X Ei Ir up ..' lm W, ' t X , s,f1X ?3i if ls. i N A . The team was divided into three groups which, under the intramural program, played one another throughout the season. The winning team played the B team. Under captains Bobby Palos, George McMeans, and Bill Maniarrez, with super- vision by Mr. Reitnouer, the program was highly successful. The Junior High track program was very similar, with inter-class competition. Mr. Jones, track coach, stressed the fundamentals of track and that track is an individual sport which aids in the development ot the person. At the meet between classes held at the end of the season, awards were made to those showing particular enthusiasm and promise. Ee MP 3 ...g -3' bs . Q lst Row: V. Jackman, S Fowler, B.
