lqfl. wr' FACULTY As Vice Principal, MR. WOOD good nafuredly signs our parfy slips when Dr. Thompson is away, and as our Business Manager he carefully keeps frack of every penny and fakes a lol' of persuading before he le'l's us spend any school money. He lends his iudgmenf and experience fo all our financial problems. And he always has a pafienf smile and a helping hand for every sfudenf in woodshop, af fhe fypewrifer, and in his mechanical drawing classes. Ever since we have known C. H. S., Mr. Wood has been an indispensable and never failing parf of if and he probably always will be. Her quief, orderly, sunny room is like MRS. HULL'S feaching. We may nof learn in+ellecfual curiosify by fhe end of our Senior year buf we cerfainly have learned English and how fo begin fo love and undersfand fhe greaf liferary works which are our herifage-all vividly colored by her ouflook and personalify. She is our charming, under- sfanding Dean of Girls and as advisor keeps fhe Sfudenf Council an efficienf, serious governmenf for fhe sfudenfs. She is Mrs. Hull, fhaf is enough. MISS KNUTSON'S firsf year af Claremonl' has increased whaf Junior High sfudenfs know abouf English a hundred per cenf. Wifh good hard work and consfanf drill she has laid a sfurdy foundafion in grammar and spelling which will sfand fhem in good sfead all fheir lives. Her valenfine boxes and iolly smile keep fhe younger members of our sfudenf body feeling af home and happy. No one has ever seen lively, kindly MRS. WILLIAMS when she wasn'+ ready fo undersfand and help. Always busy wifh fhe ice cream boofh, fhe candy sfand, advising fhe Red Cross, lending her broad experience and knowledge fo lively discussions in Biology and Household Managemenf classes, and her skillful fingers fo would-be seamsfresses, she sfill has her cu'I'e liffle laugh and overflowing energy affer a long, hard day. We iusf can I' wear her ouf! Providing his classes wifh a conglomerafion of jokes and scienfific facfs is MR. ARRINGTON, whose slow drawl and easy going ways endear him fo his General Science, Physics and Chemisfry classes. As head of our science deparfmenf his iob is a big and imporfanf one buf iusf 'rhe same he's always our good nafured, pafienf Mr. Arringfon.
