SENIUR PRIJPHECY ' One night after school as I was dusting the lamp in Mrs. P1erce's room, dreaming of Hollywood when what to my wondering eyes should appear but a magic carpet driven by LEO AEIKENS. We sail off into the sky and quicker than a cat can wink his eye, we're landing near a television station. We get off, waving goodbye to the pilot as he sails off into the unknown. The doorman whom we recognize as RONALD FRITZ, leads us ln- side. Stepping into the elevator we are surprised to see ALLEN MEINTS operating lt. On the seventh floor we are greeted by SIDNEY SELL, Pres- ident of television station INVU. He tells the usherettes, MARION PETERSON and CAROL WOLTJER to escort us into the auditorium where the audience is watching 'People Are Funnyn. Because of illness, Art Link- letter is replaced by JAMES JAENISCH. We notice another CC graduate, RICHARD LYNAM, as the cameraman. The program begins with a picturesque commercial for 'white Ra1n'. DONALD MEYER, wearing a raincoat, is stand- ing in the center of the stage while imitation snow softly falls upon his shoulders. James gets the program rolling with the first guest whom we all know as GAYLE CLEMENTS. We see the surprised look on his face when he is told he will have the privilege of staying in Hollywood for a week with all expenses paid, QQT he has to go to the homes of the Hollywood stars and bring back to the next show, a genuine elephant tusk. The next guest is introduced as Mrs. Tab Hunter, the former KAREN YOCK. She must make a telephone call to the person whose number was picked at random. In this call she must talk for three minutes a- bout her dislikes of Elvis Presley. Mrs. Hunter d1dn't succeed because the number she happened to call was the Presley residence and the person to whom she was speaking was Mrs. Presley, the former CAROL CASPERS.

As we depart from the building we notice Gayle is hailing a taxi. He invites us to go along with him on his adventure. As we get into the cab, we notice it is driven by MURIEL GERDES, Hollywoods leading taxi driver. Seated next to her is her faithful companion, MARGIE COLEMAN. we ask Muriel to drive us to the Brown Derby. Here we are ap- proached by MARJORIE AMMERMANN, the hostess, who shows us to a table. The waitresses who have charge of our table are ARLYS HILBRANDS and RUTH ANN ZIMMER. While eating our delicious dinner prepared by the cook, MARTHA ZELLER, we enjoy the fashion show with BEVERLY PRINDLE and DONNA AMMEBMAN aSUWOof the models. We also enjoy a flute solo by PAT THEIN. As we are departing we notice a telephone in the lounge and decide to call Marilyn Monroe to make sure she is home. Her maid tells us she is at the Sweep Beauty Salon, run by SHARON SWEEP. On the corner we run into a mob of people. In the midst of them is a trio consisting of LEE ANN PREKKER, MARLYS BUCHHOLZ, and EMOLYN GRUSS- ING. They are known throughout the world for their LBAlLover Boys Asso- ciatlonl. We drop some of our loose change into their little cup. In the beauty salon we find RONALD PREKKER sitting in a chair. As we ask Sharon if Marilyn Monroe is ln there, Ronnie comes up to us and tells us that he is Mar1lyn's bodyguard. After finding out that Marilyn d1dn't have a genuine elephant tusk we start on our way to Debbie and Eddie Flschers' home. Not knowing where they live we ask a policeman, whom we know as JOHN FISCHER, where we can locate the Fischer residence. He tells us it 1s a block and a half to the right. As we approach this place we are met by a running child followed by the babysitter, ESTHER KLUVER. At the Fischer home we notice DELWIN SCHWITTERS mowing the lawn. He tells us that Debbie and Eddie are not home but he is sure that they do not have a genuine elephant tusk. Walking past the gym, we see a sign that SBYS 'Wrestling Ton1ght,' JIM HAGERT and JIM WAGNER vs The Russians. We walk in only to find the two wrestlers from CC managed by HARVEY WIEBERDINK. We also learn that in this very gym the two famous basketball players, VERNON JURGENS and HARLEY BARNEY, train every day. Sitting on a chair in the ball diamond behind the gym is DENNIS PRIEBE watching the famous ROGER HEINS practic- ing baseball. No one has a genuine elephant tusk!!! Very disappolntedly we walk toward the home of Jack Benny. After ringing the doorbell, we are surprised to find the door opened by DUANE SCHOEN. He explains that he is taking Rochester's place during his 111 ness. He tells us that Jack is in the patio in conference with his pub- licity agent, JAMES GRUSSING and his private detective, LARRY JOHNSON. While waiting to see Mr. Benny we noticed in the newspaper a pic- ture of STANLEY HAGEMEYER taken by ALLEN ERICKSON. Stan is a candidate for the Presidency of the United States. In the Gossip Columm, written by KAREN NELSON, we see that ARDIS FOKKEN, the famous singer, has been seen in public with Sal Mineo. In the Editorial section we notice that MR. MILES is trying to es- tablish a new system of education in one of Hollywood's finest schools. Jack enters the room and we ask him if he has a genuine elephant tusk. He tells us he will go up into the attic and look. A few minutes later, Jack comes back with a genuine elephant tusk. He tells us we can borrow it but we must be sure to bring it backg he might need it again sometime. Well, it just goes to show 'People Are Funny'.
