Then they study the place of America in that history, the way the laws and institutions they know as American came to be, and the methods for meeting problems which face young citizens in a challenged democracy. Through weekly study of a current events magazine, they keep well in- formed about persons and places in today's news.

T find its sometimes well- hidden identity, CHS students use general math, algebra, geo- metry, triginometry, and slide rules, a new skill acquired this year.
