Besides the men, a group of several women help keep the iunicr-senior high school clean. Attendance officer William Walker, left, is the one who comes knocking at the door at home if someone doesn't show up for classes. He could probably draw a map of Clairton's streets with his eyes closed. The helpful person on the right who locks up purses, lights candles in emergencies, and dismisses girls' gym and swimming classes is Miss Eva Craven, matron ofthe girl's shower roam. 13
