Up front with B. and B. Early morning duties. Service Per vnnel The Women behind the men would he an appropriate name given to our efficient office staff. Those endless small tasks that arise so often in the front office are quickly and etliciently taken care of hy the office secretaries. Beside these, there are many routine johs to he taken care of everyday. Those students who contin- ually lose or forget their locker keys, or the ones who are ahsent every other day and must get their absentee cards are the favorites of the otlice force. For Seniors the ladies ot the otlice perform many duties such as, making out the class ratings, giving out scholarship information, and sending transcripts of grades to colleges. Notice how nice the lawn around the school looks, when it is not covered hy paper thrown hy the students. Also notice the clean Walls and floors that greet our eyes in Septemher. VVho is responsible for this? NVhy, the janitors ot course. Gur staff ot janitors keep us Warm in Winter and cool in summer. They keep our auditorium, rooms and halls clean from dirt and paper. In the spring, the janitors provide an interesting sight for listless students when thev cut the grass around the school. And ot course We must not forget that man who is largely responsible for our high schoolis high attendance, Mr. St. Clair. No more janitors at C. ll. S.1just coal niiners. Plalpic I fdacation The gym and swimmng classes are well attended, not only because attendance deter- mines your grade, but because of the fun they have. They of course, are somewhat sore from the over-exertion of human croquet, cannon- hall, basketball, and calisthenics-but still they never learn. After getting into the spirit of the sports, many of the boys have the idea to go on with the seasonls sport-whether it be football. bas- ketball, swimming, baseball. or track. The girls are not left out however. Intramural games are played by the girls' choice teams. They compete with one another in volleyball, basketball, and bowling.
